The two show seasons of 52 episodes have bewitched children and families across the globe thanks to the highest quality CGI animation and stories that are always compelling and full of adventure, music, and color. Launched in Italy by Rai Yoyo in 2018, 44 Cats is is on air in more than 100 countries around the world with enormous success.

The title of the series is taken from the famous song “44 Cats,” which won the tenth edition of the Zecchino d’Oro in 1968, and since then has been one of the most representative songs of the iconic Italian children’s festival.

Music plays a leading role in the series, and there are more than 40 songs performed by the Antoniano.

The protagonists are four cute musician cats called Lampo, Milady, Pilou and Meatball, a group of friends always ready for adventure, and the adorable Granny Pina, the sweet granny who takes care of them and is famous for her delicious noodles, food that gives the four friends a boost in times of need.

Granny’s garage is the “Clubhouse” of the Buffycats, the name of the band of the four cats. The four protagonists live in this special space, where they play and meet their furry fellows, and from which they set off on their daily adventures, very often to help friends who ask for their support in solving small and big problems.
