La Gazzetta dello Sport

La Gazzetta dello Sport story starts on the 3 of April 1896, printed on green paper, but it’s actually on the 2nd of Januray 1989 when its pages turn pink, the color it is renowned for.

Over time, the newspaper has won over more and more Italians, with an extended media coverage of both national and international sport. La Gazzetta dello Sport is by far the most widely read newspaper in Italy and is followed worldwide. Among its main readers are young people, which makes it an “access to reading” newspaper, the pink door through which reading the newspaper enters the habits of Italians.

The quality and completeness of Gazzetta’s journalistic information makes it the most authoritative sports daily, a bible for millions of sport fans. Always up to date with technology, it has been able to reinvent itself and evolve by covering communication on web, devices and social platforms, where scoops and current news are shared (the Facebook page boasts more than 2 million likes).
