Planeta Junior was born in 2002 as a joint venture between Grupo Planeta and De Agostini Group, both of Companies ranking amongst the most important players in the development and production of media contents, on a worldwide basis.

Planeta Junior operates into children and teenagers entertainment industry and is one of the leading European Companies in the creation and development of properties focused on media and consumer products industries.
The Company has a well-rooted presence in many European Countries, thanks to its extensive network of offices (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, as well as in Eastern Europe, thanks to the office located in Warsaw, and Turkey).

This network allows the Company to operate locally in a flexible but consistent way; at the same time, it allows the Company to operate sinergically,  with   a strategic perspective, from a “global” point of view.

The management of TV contents as well as the merchandising developments are divided into 5 main areas: classics and animation; live action; brand; brandnew productions; movies.
