{"id":27332,"date":"2021-10-14T10:27:48","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T08:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.licensingitalia.it\/?p=27332"},"modified":"2021-10-14T10:27:48","modified_gmt":"2021-10-14T08:27:48","slug":"team-gb-to-present-day-one-keynote-at-brand-licensing-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.licensingitalia.it\/en\/team-gb-to-present-day-one-keynote-at-brand-licensing-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Team GB to present day one keynote at Brand Licensing Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>BLE \u2013 the meeting place for the European licensing industry \u2013 takes place in-person at ExCeL London from 17-19 November followed by an online event on 30 November to 1 December.<\/h3>\n<div>Visitors can register for a free ticket now at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandlicensing.eu\/\"><span class=\"s2\">www.brandlicensing.eu<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Fresh from securing 63 medals at Tokyo 2020 this summer, Team GB will present the opening day keynote at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandlicensing.eu\/en\/home.htm\"><span class=\"s2\">Brand Licensing Europe<\/span><\/a> in November when British Olympic gold medallists Tom Daley and Charlotte Worthington will talk about their journeys to the 2020 Summer Olympics.<\/p>\n<div>The Team GB keynote will take place on <strong>Wednesday 17 November at 4pm (GMT) in the Platinum Suite of ExCeL London<\/strong> and open with the Olympians\u2019 personal accounts of their experiences before, during and following their gold-medal-winning performances at this year\u2019s 2020 Summer Olympics.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The first Team GB diver to win four Olympic medals, Tom Daley will appear by live video link from Canada. BMX Freestyle gold medallist Charlotte Worthington will appear in person alongside Tim Ellerton, Commercial Director of Team GB, and Will Stewart, Managing Director of The Point. 1888 (one of Team GB\u2019s brand licensing partners).<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>An insightful panel session will follow, featuring all four speakers and covering:<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">How Team GB are building the brand to inspire future athletes and sports fans.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">How will Paris 2024 be a new milestone for the Team GB brand and its athletes?<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">Team GB\u2019s unique approach to brand licensing with sports and fan communities in mind<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Charlotte Worthington will join The Point.1888 on their stand for a meet and greet following the presentation at 5pm.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\u201cThe brand licensing stories behind Team GB and our British Olympians are fascinating for retailers, licensees and consumers at any time, but this year \u2013 when the pandemic delayed the 2020 Summer Olympics by 12 months \u2013 they are particularly compelling,\u201d said <strong>Informa Market\u2019s VP of Licensing Anna Knight<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\u201cHow do you extend your campaigns while also ensuring they have the same impact with consumers?
