Based on the best-selling books by Liane Schneider and Eva Wenzel-B\u00fcrger, published by Germany\u2019s Carlsen Verlag, \u201cConni\u201d is a cherished children\u2019s brand with global appeal. With over 3.5 million books sold annually in Germany and translations into 25 languages, Conni has captured the hearts of families worldwide through books, a popular TV series broadcast in over 100 countries, and the first feature film, \u201cConni and the Cat\u201d (2020), which garnered over 400,000 admissions in the German-speaking territories and was later released among others in the U.S. and UK via Blue Fox.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This new CGI\/2D hybrid film is produced by youngfilms and Senator Film Produktion, directed by Dirk Hampel with a screenplay by Oliver Huzly and Sven Severin. The story follows Conni who, while her parents are away, embarks on an exciting journey with her cat, Grandpa Willi, and a grumpy neighbor to help the injured crane Klaus, join his migration flock to the South.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea of this film was to stay true to the heart of the beloved IP and create something entertaining yet gentle for young cinemagoers,\u201d said Producer Henning Windelband. \u201cAfter years of working on Conni, she feels like a fourth daughter to me, and I\u2019m thrilled to see her next big adventure come to life,\u201d Creative Producer Jana Kr\u00e4mer added. \u201cConni\u2019s new adventure is sure to resonate with her loyal fans, offering a heartwarming story for families to enjoy together.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cConni and the Mystery of the Crane\u201d will be distributed theatrically in German-speaking territories by Wild Bunch Germany, with Studio 100 Film handling worldwide sales. The film is scheduled for completion in summer 2026.<\/p>\n<p><b>Emmi &amp; Unipig<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Studio 100 Film is also proud to present \u201cEmmi &amp; Unipig\u201d, an enchanting, animated feature film based on the best-selling novel series by German author Anna B\u00f6hm, which has sold more than 150,000 copies. The rights for the first book of the series were sold to Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Latvia, and Czech Republic among others. Targeting kids and family audiences, this 80-minute film is directed by Stephan Wagner, with a screenplay by Anna B\u00f6hm. The production is a German collaboration between Carte blanche Media, Little Dream Entertainment (known for titles such as \u201cTafiti\u201d, \u201cThe Mucklas\u201d, and \u201cMoonbound\u201d), and AMOUR FOU Filmproduktion. The animation is provided by Red Parrot Studio, the creative force behind \u201dMoonbound\u201d and the high-quality VFX of \u201cThe Mucklas\u201d and \u201cTafiti\u201d.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Studio 100 Film holds worldwide sales rights, excluding the German-speaking territories.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>On her tenth birthday, Emmi wishes for a unicorn as her magic mate. However, she gets Unipig &#8211; a small pink pet pig with a golden horn and nothing else in common with a unicorn. In fear of her school mates, Emmi disguises her new magic mate as a baby unicorn and passes it off as such. However, she learns to embrace her unconventional companion, who teaches her about loyalty, self-confidence, and true friendship. But Unipig wants to be a Unipig &#8211; and not a unicorn.
