Can you tell us more about the upcoming developments related to this IP and any other plans for the DC universe that you are able to share today?<\/strong><\/span><strong><span class=\"s3\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">2025 has been an incredibly busy and exciting year for <strong>DC<\/strong>, and there\u2019s still so much to come! <\/span><span class=\"s6\">The release of <\/span><span class=\"s6\"><strong>DC Studios<\/strong>\u2019 highly anticipated film <\/span><em><strong><span class=\"s6\">Superman<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span class=\"s6\"> on <strong>9<\/strong><\/span><strong><span class=\"s7\">th<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s6\"><strong> July<\/strong> is a landmark moment. From a <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Global C<\/span><span class=\"s6\">onsumer <\/span><span class=\"s6\">P<\/span><span class=\"s6\">roducts perspective, we\u2019re supporting this <\/span><span class=\"s6\">tentpole <\/span><span class=\"s6\">with one of <\/span><span class=\"s6\">the largest <\/span><span class=\"s6\">global licensing programs we\u2019ve ever executed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">We\u2019ve partnered with over<strong> 100 brands<\/strong>\u2014from <strong>Mattel<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"s6\">, <\/span><strong><span class=\"s6\">Jazwares<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s6\">,<\/span><strong><span class=\"s6\"> Funko<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s6\">, <strong>Pets + People<\/strong>, <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Fossil, and Build-A-Bear\u2014to bring <\/span><span class=\"s6\">the exciting story by James Gunn <\/span><span class=\"s6\">to life across toys, fashion, publishing, home d\u00e9cor, and <\/span><span class=\"s6\">products for pets! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">The product range is vibrant<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> and <\/span><span class=\"s6\">optimistic,<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> while<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">celebrating <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Superman<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u2019s<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> strength and heroism. <\/span><span class=\"s6\">In addition to the original <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Super Hero<\/span><span class=\"s6\">,<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> we\u2019re already laying the groundwork for future activations tied to upcoming titles<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> from DC Studios<\/span><span class=\"s6\">, ensuring that fans can engage with the DC Universe <\/span><span class=\"s6\">with high quality, <\/span><span class=\"s6\">collectible, and culturally resonant<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> collections<\/span><span class=\"s6\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">The wider DC slate offers hugely exciting possibilities for consumer products and licensing. For example, we are already working towards <\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"s6\">Supergirl<\/span><span class=\"s6\">,\u201d<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">ahead of its 2026 <\/span><span class=\"s6\">release in <\/span><span class=\"s6\">movie <\/span><span class=\"s6\">theaters<\/span><span class=\"s6\">. This film is looking incredible, and we are excited about the way that it could open up a host of new areas, licenses, partnerships and categories. We can\u2019t share too much but we are really looking forward to <\/span><span class=\"s6\">supporting a story that is out-of-this-world (literally)<\/span><span class=\"s6\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">One of the really wonderful things about DC is there <\/span><span class=\"s6\">are so many beloved stories, characters and locations <\/span><span class=\"s6\">for us <\/span><span class=\"s6\">and partners <\/span><span class=\"s6\">to highlight and celebrate<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> in <\/span><span class=\"s6\">new ways<\/span><span class=\"s6\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">The <\/span><span class=\"s6\">vast library <\/span><span class=\"s6\">also offers us creative <\/span><span class=\"s6\">ways to <\/span><span class=\"s6\">engage existing DC fans in surprising ways<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> while appealing to new fans.<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">Look at animated series like DC and WB Animation\u2019s \u201c<\/span><span class=\"s6\">Batwheels<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u201d and DC Studios\u2019 \u201c<\/span><span class=\"s6\">Creature Commandos<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u201d on Max, or the upcoming DC Studios film \u201c<\/span><span class=\"s6\">Clayface<\/span><span class=\"s6\">.\u201d E<\/span><span class=\"s6\">ach <\/span><span class=\"s6\">production features a different tone <\/span><span class=\"s6\">and presents <\/span><span class=\"s6\">new <\/span><span class=\"s6\">possibilities<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> to develop entertaining products<\/span><span class=\"s6\">. <\/span><span class=\"s6\">It\u2019s a very exciting time for us! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong>LI: On September 19, an interactive exhibition dedicated to Harry Potter will open in Milan, as part of an ongoing European tour<\/strong><\/span><strong><span class=\"s2\">, i<\/span><span class=\"s2\">n 2026, the <\/span><span class=\"s2\">first film in the series<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and the cast of the new TV series was recently announced. Can you tell us <\/span><span class=\"s2\">any more about your plans for this <\/span><span class=\"s2\">much-loved<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> IP?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">I<\/span><span class=\"s6\">t\u2019s an exciting time to be a Harry Potter fan, that\u2019s for sure! <\/span><span class=\"s9\">The Harry Potter franchise continues to be one of the most beloved and globally resonant properties in our portfolio. We\u2019re thrilled to bring <\/span><span class=\"s10\">Harry Potter: The Exhibition<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> to Milan as part of its European tour. This immersive experience allows fans to <\/span><span class=\"s9\">celebrate<\/span> <span class=\"s9\">the <\/span><span class=\"s9\">world of Harry Potter<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> like never before &#8211; Location based experiences like this are a wonderful asset as they keep fans engaged and entertained and ensuring that our franchises stay feeling relevant to them is critical.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">The Harry Potter brand is a real joy. In consumer products, our creative teams and brilliant partners work closely together to bring to life the iconic stories, characters, locations and adventures that we know our fans love in ways that truly surprise and delight, identifying real fan favourite aspects and <\/span><span class=\"s6\">those <\/span><span class=\"s8\">\u2018if you know, you know\u2019<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> moments that speak to the shared community language that we know fans speak. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">With the recent announcement of the new Harry Potter TV series cast, we\u2019re entering a new era for the franchise. This series will reintroduce the beloved stories to a new generation, and from a licensing perspective, it opens up fresh creative opportunities across categories\u2014from fashion and collectibles to digital content and beyond. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">And of course, the classic films continue to be very important to us. The 25th <\/span><span class=\"s6\">A<\/span><span class=\"s6\">nniversary of the first film is a major milestone, and we\u2019re planning a global celebration that spans consumer products, publishing, retail activations, and themed experiences. It\u2019s a moment to honour the legacy while also looking to the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">Our goal is to ensure that every fan, no matter their age or where they are in the world, can find a way to connect with the magic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong>LI: There is growing excitement in Milan, across Italy, and around the world for the upcoming XXV Winter Olympic Games of Milano Cortina 2026. Your relationship with the Olympic Committee already seems well established since the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Can you tell us more about this collaboration?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">We are very proud of our partnership with the International Olympic <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Committee and<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> seek to bring the Olympic spirit to life through storytelling, creativity, and consumer engagement, in connection with some of our best loved Looney Tunes characters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">Following the success of our collaboration <\/span><span class=\"s6\">during <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Paris 2024, we\u2019re incredibly proud to extend that momentum into Milano Cortina 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s14\"><span class=\"s6\">For the Winter Games, we\u2019re leveraging the global appeal of our iconic <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Looney Tunes <\/span><span class=\"s6\">characters<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">to create a dynamic and playful merchandise program that celebrates Olympic values. <\/span><span class=\"s13\">Looking forward to 2026, the Looney Tunes will once again be cheering on the athletes and entertaining fans during the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic games, with fresh new content and of course<\/span><span class=\"s13\">,<\/span><span class=\"s13\"> more exclusive merch. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">From Bugs Bunny to Lola and Daffy, these characters <\/span><span class=\"s6\">exemplify <\/span><span class=\"s6\">the <\/span><span class=\"s6\">teamwork, camaraderie, athleticism, and competition<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">that define the Games<\/span><span class=\"s6\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">This collaboration is part of the IOC\u2019s global licensing initiative, and it allows us to connect with fans of all ages through apparel, toys, accessories, and more.<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> We can\u2019t wait to reveal more about our plans in due course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong>LI:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"s2\">The Game of Thrones series played a crucial role in HBO\u2019s success in the U.S. Do you think the release of new spin-off seasons will be a driver for the licensing of the GOT franchise<\/span><span class=\"s2\">?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">Absolutely. The Game of Thrones franchise remains one of the most iconic and globally resonant properties in our portfolio and every piece of content represents a tremendous opportunity not only to expand the storytelling universe but also to reinvigorate the franchise across all consumer touchpoints. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">From a licensing perspective, these new narratives allow us to reimagine the brand across categories and engage fans in a whole new way<\/span><span class=\"s6\">, <\/span><span class=\"s6\">drawing in both loyal fans and new audiences. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong>LI: 2026 will also mark the 25<\/strong><\/span><strong><span class=\"s15\">th<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> An<\/span><span class=\"s2\">niversary of <em>The Lord of the Rings<\/em>. Can you share<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> any<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> plans related to this milestone?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">The <\/span><span class=\"s8\">Lord of the Rings<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> is a franchise that has defined epic storytelling for a generation. It\u2019s a moment we\u2019ll be celebrating in a big way across our global consumer products strategy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">This anniversary is an opportunity to honour the legacy while inviting fans long-time and new back into <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Middle<\/span><span class=\"s6\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"s6\">earth<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> through products that are rich in storytelling, craftsmanship, and cultural relevance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">It\u2019s a rare opportunity to blend nostalgia with innovation<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> &#8211; <\/span><span class=\"s6\">particularly as <\/span><span class=\"s6\">excitement grows for fans to<\/span><span class=\"s6\">to<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> dive into <\/span><span class=\"s8\">\u2018<\/span><span class=\"s8\">The <\/span><span class=\"s8\">Lord of The Rings: <\/span><span class=\"s8\">The Hunt for Gollum\u2019,<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">which is set<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> to hit theatres <\/span><span class=\"s6\">in 2027<\/span><span class=\"s6\">. It is not just a trend, it\u2019s a powerful consumer segment where adults are embracing nostalgia, play, and fandom as part of their identity. These are adults who grew up with our brands and now have the means and desire to reconnect with them in meaningful ways. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s8\">The <\/span><span class=\"s8\">Lord of the Rings<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> and Harry Potter both resonate with this audience, particularly through high-end collectibles, fashion collaborations, and immersive experiences that allow fans to express their passion in sophisticated ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s5\"><span class=\"s6\">Our broader portfolio is also incredibly well-positioned for Kidults. We also see tremendous traction with brands like Looney Tunes and DC.
