She will report to Valentina La Macchia, Director of Consumer Products.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In her new post, Julia will be responsible for the company\u2019s licensing business in <strong>Spain\/Portugal and Latin Americ<\/strong>a, two important areas for Mondo\u2019s continuing expansion plans. In this role she will build on the existing growth the company has enjoyed in these areas and identify new licensing opportunities as Mondo TV develops partnerships and projects across both regions.<\/p>\n<p>Julia joins Mondo TV from Biplano Licensing, where she was Hardlines Category Manager across the gift, back to school, electronics, beauty and cosmetics categories. In this post her role was identifying new product categories for license opportunities and potential partners to pitch and evaluate within each category.<\/p>\n<p>Julia Guti\u00e9rrez says: \u201cMondo TV is widely admired for the strength of its offering across both television and licensing and this is a very exciting time in its development. This is the perfect opportunity to bring my experience in pan-European licensing to a wider stage.
