Regan will bring her vast licensing knowledge and international expertise to broaden the scope of LIMA\u2019s services and offerings to the global industry.<\/p>\n<p>Regan comes to LIMA following a 17-year career with <strong>Sesame Workshop<\/strong>, the nonprofit organization responsible for <strong>Sesame Street<\/strong>.\u00a0 As Senior Vice President and General Manager, International Media Business, she oversaw the Workshop\u2019s international distribution and licensing business.\u00a0 Under her leadership, Sesame Workshop opened its first office in China. Prior to that Regan was SVP and GM of Global Consumer Products and, before going to Sesame Workshop, held executive positions with Scholastic Entertainment and MTV Networks.\u00a0 She served as Chairman of the LIMA Board of Directors from 2012-2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaura is an extremely well-respected member of the global licensing community and we are delighted to add someone of her high caliber to our staff,\u201d said Charles Riotto, LIMA President. \u201cShe brings a wealth of industry acumen and business savvy that will be invaluable to LIMA\u2019s efforts to grow our organization around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Added Regan: \u201cI am delighted to join this esteemed organization and serve an industry that continues to grow and drive significant business opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Regan is a fellow of the US-Japan Foundation Leadership program and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.\u00a0 She was recognized as a top leader in business by Irish-America Magazine.
