Cassey Ho, fitness entrepreneur & YouTube star, presente a BLE 2015 keynote

BLE has announced that Cassey Ho will deliver the keynote address at this year’s show with YouTube’s Global Head of Top Creators, Benjamin Grubbs. The keynote will take place at 12:30 on Tuesday 13th October 2015.

Cassey is an entrepreneur and the creator of Blogilates, the largest female fitness channel on YouTube with over 2.5 million subscribers. Her programme, POP Pilates, is the official Pilates format of all 24 Hour Fitness gyms in the United States. She also has her own line of apparel, accessories, DVDs and most recently, is the author of a fitness book. Cassey started her business whilst in college and is now followed by over 1 million people on Instagram and won the Streamy Award for “Best Health and Wellness Channel” in 2014 and 2015.

The session will see Cassey discuss building a brand on YouTube and creating an effective licensing programme to follow. “A lot of people may think of me as a YouTube star and fitness instructor, but I’m also the CEO and head designer of my merchandise lines. I know my audience very well, so it makes it simpler to come up with new products. That’s the perk of selling to a community, not just customers,” says Cassey.

Darren Brechin, BLE Event Director, said: “This is the first time we have focused on a YouTube celebrity at BLE, and the session will provide a fascinating insight into how brands can leverage the digital landscape.”
The keynote forms part of the Licensing Academy programme of talks and seminars which are held during BLE 2015. They are free to attend and the programme can be found at www.brandlicensing.eu.
