Around the World by Willy Fog is an animated series inspired by Jules Verne’s famous novel Around the World in 80 Days. The protagonist is Willy Fog, a distinguished and phlegmatic gentleman from London, who accepts an ambitious challenge: he bets twenty thousand pounds with the members of the Reform Club to be able to complete the world tour in just eighty days, following a rigorous itinerary. During his adventure, Willy Fog faces adversity, mishaps and traps, accompanied by a series of loyal and determined companions.
The series includes two seasons for a total of 52 episodes of 30 minutes each, and three films of 75 minutes each. Created by the award-winning studio Nippon Animation, it was broadcast in over 50 countries, conquering the public with its stories full of action, emotion and humor.
