Bat Pat 2 stars on Clan with a spooky Halloween special
Mondo TV Iberoamérica, part of the Italian group Mondo TV, one of the largest European producers and distributors of animated content, has announced that series two of the spooky animated comedy Bat Pat is previewing at Halloween on the leading Spanish children’s channel just ahead of the show’s official launch
Clan, a children’s TV channel owned and operated by the Spanish public service broadcaster RTVE, will broadcast a selection of six Halloween-themed episodes of Bat Pat 2 on Friday the 30th of October at 6.50pm. The same shows, plus two more, will also broadcast from 11.09am on Saturday the 31st of October.
A first run of the eagerly awaited new adventure series starring the mystery-solving talking bat and his human friends can be seen Monday to Friday at 12:09, starting from the 16th of November. The new series will appear for a second time in a special slot at the beginning of 2021.
Clan TV is supporting both the Halloween showing and the November launch with promotional videos on TV – as well as online through a major social media campaign.
Bat Pat follows the spooky and comic adventures of Bat Pat, a talking bat, and his friends the Silver siblings, Martin, Leo and Rebecca. As they solve mysteries, they cross paths with supernatural creatures of the night that stalk them, chase them and screech at them, lurking in every dark corner of their house in Fogville, a small city that seems to be at the centre of all the weirdness in the world.
This second season of Bat Pat will continue the successful mixture of fantastic characters, scary surprises and hilarious jokes, but with even more great gags and physical comedy. Fans can also look forward to new creatures, new locations and even a haunted railway!
Maria Bonaria Fois, CEO of Mondo TV Iberoamérica, said: “Comedy, adventure and spooky fun made series one of Bat Pat a big hit. Halloween is a perfect time for this preview of the much-anticipated second season, which we are sure will be very popular with Clan TV’s young audience.”
