The news was unveiled during the BLUELOCK EGOIST FESTA 2025, an event that gathered hundreds of fans in Japan and highlighted the brand’s strong international resonance.
The upcoming season—whose release date has yet to be announced—will adapt the highly anticipated Neo Egoist League arc, one of the most pivotal chapters of the original manga. In this storyline, the protagonists face off against teams composed of emerging talents from around the world, further amplifying the title’s universal and competitive appeal.
With this new development, BLUE LOCK solidifies its position as one of the most influential next-generation sports franchises of the decade, capable of engaging cross-generational audiences and creating new opportunities in licensing, merchandising, and brand experiences.
BLUE LOCK, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, is one ofthe most successful sports manga of recent years. This manga began to be published in 2018; thanks to its unique mix of dynamic characters, including the protagonist Isagi Yōichi, an engaging plot, and captivating graphics, Blue Lock has already won millions of fans and had a total worldwide circulation of more than 40 million copies to date.
