Brilliant New Rainbow Brands Set To Dazzle At BLE!

The reward for visitors to the Rainbow stand at BLE 2016 (C10) is a look at three of the hottest new properties of 2016 – Regal Academy, Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends and World of Winx.

Regal Academy is the hilarious new animation that takes traditional fairy tales and gives them a fresh, funny and hugely entertaining makeover! The series centres on the adventures of young Rose Cinderella – who one day is shocked and amazed to discover that the famous fairy tale Cinderella is actually…her granny! Not only that, she’s also been enrolled at the Regal Academy – a school run by her grandmother and a host of other fairy tale characters, who pass on wisdom to the next generation. Her new classmates include Hawk SnowWhite, Travis Beast, Joy LeFrog, Astoria Rapunzel and LingLing Iron Fan – all part of famous fairy tale dynasties –and together they enjoy a series of funny and exciting adventures.

With Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends, Rainbow presents its first ever full live-action production. The show is a tale of two cultures coming together, in the shape of young American girl Maggie and Italian ‘princess’ Bianca.  The story follows Maggie as she begins her dream scholarship at the Milan Fashion Academy. Here she meets Bianca and together they embark on a friendship that leads to secrets that change their lives forever. This enthralling new show has three key themes at its heart – music, fashion and the power of friendship – and promises to delight fans across the world.

Major licensing deals have already been signed for both these new shows. Simba has signed a master toy deal for Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends, whilst Giochi Preziosi has agreed a pan-European master toy deal for Regal Academy and will produce fashion dolls and accessories, play sets and roleplay.

World of Winx is an eagerly awaited new property based on one of the globe’s favourite girls’ brands – Winx Club. In this sparkling and funny new show the Winx fairies travel to Earth in search of talented kids, as scouts for talent show WOW! But they uncover the villainous activities of the Talent Thief – a mysterious villain who is capturing gifted children! The Winx must go undercover and hide their fairy identities to outfox the Talent Thief and protect the children of Earth.
