Crocs will launch its first collaboration with Yu-Gi-Oh! starting in Japan on Sept. 9 before expanding globally the following day. The collection includes four footwear styles inspired by characters and monsters from the anime: Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Each model features Jibbitz charms themed around key characters and monsters. The lineup includes two Classic Clog styles and two Echo Clog styles, with the Seto Kaiba and Blue-Eyes White Dragon models available exclusively at Foot Locker stores and online.
Select stores will offer a limited-edition “Yu-Gi-Oh!” Trading Card Game card as a purchase bonus with the collection.
A pop-up event featuring the collaboration collection will be held at Atmos Ikebukuro beginning Sept. 9. Visitors will be able to view each item in the collection.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Yami Yugi Classic Clog features an indigo color scheme and includes two charms of the Millennium Puzzle worn by Yami Yugi, along with design elements including Dark Magician. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Magician Echo Clog is inspired by the monster from Yami Yugi’s deck and features a deep purple color and three-dimensional Jibbitz charms shaped like the magician’s hat and staff.
The Foot Locker-exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! Seto Kaiba Classic Clog includes Jibbitz charms featuring a replica of Kaiba’s card-shaped lockets and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Blue-Eyes White Dragon Echo Clog features the white dragon design on the streamlined Echo Clog silhouette.
The collection will be available at the Crocs online store, Crocs retail stores, Crocs partner stores and other Crocs-authorized retailers. Availability varies by product and store. Foot Locker-exclusive items will be available at Foot Locker stores and the Foot Locker online store.
Additional Jibbitz charms will also be available, including a Yu-Gi-Oh! Monsters 5-Pack and individual character charms featuring Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler and Yugi Muto.
