DeAPlaneta Entertainment appointed as the agent for “Pocoyo” in Italy

DeAPlaneta Entertainment will represent Pocoyo in Italy as the beloved preschool brand celebrates 20 years. Partnering with Animaj, the agreement covers merchandising, publishing, live shows, and retail events. Pocoyo airs on RAI Yoyo, RAI Play, and YouTube, continuing to engage young audiences.

This spring, DeAPlaneta Entertainment will become the agent for Pocoyo in Italy, as we celebrate 20 years since its premiere. Pocoyo continues to charm preschool audiences as a gentle, pure hero who refreshes preschool entertainment and modernizes social-emotional learning. Renowned for its minimalist 3D animation, Pocoyodelights children with its educational content, memorable characters, and playful narratives. With a substantial presence across TV, VOD, and mobile apps, along with over 40 million YouTube subscribers, Pocoyo remains a cherished brand, captivating millions of children and families globally.

The agreement to represent Pocoyo in Italy has been finalized with Animaj, the next-generation media company that acquired the IP in July 2023. DeAPlaneta Entertainment will manage various aspects of the IP, including merchandising, publishing rights, live shows, and retail events. In Italy, Pocoyo is broadcast on RAI Yoyo and RAI Play. Additionally, the series is available on both the Italian public broadcaster’s YouTube channel and Animaj’s Italian YouTube channel.

Next week, DeAPlaneta Entertainment will present Pocoyo and its other featured brands at the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair / Kids, to be held at BolognaFiere from 31 March to 3 April.
