FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment Signs Master Toy Deal With Jazwares for Tree Fu Tom

FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment has today announced that innovative US toy company Jazwares has signed the Master Toy rights for its hit pre-school series Tree Fu Tom.  Under the terms of the deal, Jazwares will take on the role of global manufacturer and will distribute a new range of Tree Fu Tom toys in the UK, Asia, North America, Canada and Latin America and a variety of distributors will manage the range in other key territories
The first products, distributed by Funtastic, will launch at retail in Australia in Summer 2015. The wider product roll out will then continue in the UK and other key territories.  The initial range includes vehicles, figures and an innovative interactive carry case playset.

A co-production between CBeebies in-house and FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment, Tree Fu Tom has consistently performed well on the channel and is now broadcast in over 123 territories across the globe.

With animation by award-winning Blue Zoo Animation, Tree Fu Tom is a co-production between FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment and the BBC for CBeebies. The executive producers for the BBC are Jackie Edwards and Alison Stewart, and Bob Higgins for FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment. Tree Fu Tom was created by Daniel Bays, is produced by Mark Barnard and features the voices of Sophie Aldred and Mark Bonnar.
The deal was negotiated by Tracy Griffiths, VP Licensing & Consumer Products, EMEA & Australia FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.
