Millimages Announces Global Publishing Partnership with Penguin Random House for Molang Activity Books.

Millimages, owner and producer of the iconic feel-good brand Molang, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Penguin Random House, the world’s largest tradepublisher, to create a new line of Molang activity books.

The agreement grants Penguin Random House worldwide publishing rights (excluding Japan and Korea) for a range of activity books across multiple formats aimed at fans aged 12+. The partnership will unfold through a three-year publishing range, bringing Molang’s signature universe of kindness, creativity, and friendship to readers around the world.

The first titles will launch in summer 2026, introducing a cosy, relaxing colouring series designed toappeal to teens, and Molang fans of all ages, the IP being increasingly popular with creative and kawaii-oriented GenZers and Millennials.

The initial publishing schedule includes:

  • Molang Cafe Cuties – A Cosy Colouring Book – 2 July 2026
  • Molang Friends Cuties – A Cosy Colouring Book – 1 October 2026
  • Molang Dress-up Cuties – A Cosy Colouring Book – 7 February 2027

This new publishing initiative complements the rapidly expanding presence of Molang at global retail, where the brand continues to grow strongly across categories including collectible toys, fashion and as always, plushes. The activity books will extend the Molang universe into the international publishing space, offering fans a creative and relaxing way to interact with the brand. Publishing has been a successful category for Molang in France for the last 3 years, with deals with established publishers like Dupuis, Ynnis, Larousse, or Maxilivres.

With its international reach and publishing expertise, Penguin Random House will support the global rollout of the programme, connecting Molang’s positive and comforting world with readers.
