Panini extends contract with m4e on MIA AND ME

Höhenkirchen/Munich, July 18, 2016: The Munich-based brand management- and media company m4e AG and Panini Verlags GmbH will renew their longtime and very successful cooperation on the hit TV series „Mia and me“ for three more years until 2020. As before, the contract includes the monthly „Mia and me“ magazine and additional special magazine issues, sticker and sticker albums, trading cards as well as tattoos for the German-speaking territories. In 2011, Panini was among the very first licensees for m4e’s own production and already extended its contract in 2015 due to the continuous success of the brand „Mia and me“ and its products.

The „Mia and me“ magazine is published monthly and constantly ranks among the top 4 girl magazines in Germany. Until today, more than three million magazines were sold by Panini in the German market. The special magazine issues, published in infrequently intervals, extend the publishing success, as well as the sticker collections with meanwhile the third edition on the market. In early 2016 Panini’s product range on “Mia and me” was rounded off by trading cards.

„Mia and me“ is created by Gerhard Hahn and a production of Hahn & m4e Productions GmbH – a joint venture between m4e AG and Gerhard Hahn. The series is co-produced by ZDF German Television Network. Season 2 was launched in spring 2015 and is broadcasted in Germany and many other territories. Season 3 is currently in production, season 4 and a feature film are in development.
