Planeta Junior attends Kazachok Licensing Forum with three properties for young audiences

Planeta Junior, a leading European children’s and youth entertainment company, will play an active part at the KAZACHOK LICENSING FORUM in Paris on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th. The company is attending with three properties that connect with the youngest members of the family: Magiki, Wissper and Care Bears™.

“Care Bears™” is an iconic, multi-generational brand that appeals to children, teens and adults. These sweet, loveable and huggable bears radiate love and caring, spreading happiness and joy daily. Care Bears’ new CGI series follows the adventure of these enchanting bears in the land of Care-a-lot where they live now with their Cousins: Brave Heart Lion, Bright Heart Raccoon, Lotsa Heart Elephant and Cozy Heart Penguin.

The new series has been broadcasted in Tiji since 2016 and available on Netflix worldwide since 2015. The licensing programme in France now includes Citel for the DVD, MLP for apparel, CCI and Adventure Diffusion for shoes, Alcara for gift and Cijep for childcare. Vivid is the master toy partner for the property.

“Magiki” is a new animated series for 3-6 year olds based on the DeAgostini collectibles that have sold over 17 million units in Europe. Produced by Planeta Junior, Zodiak Kids, Kids Studio, Albachiara and DeAgostini Editore, the series follows the adventures of inquisitive, adorable Billie. Tired of her sisters’ problems, Billie uses her magic key to open the toy box and enter the enchanted world of Magiki with the help of her best friend Truman. In Magiki, Billie is transformed into a modern princess while her toys become her royal court and her best friends. Princess Billie and her loyal court face fun challenges that help her get along better with her sisters in this enchanted world. The first season features 52 x 11 minute episodes.

Aimed at preschool children, “Wissper” follows the adventures of a little girl by the same name who has a very special talent – she is able to communicate with animals, which allows her to understand their problems and help solve them. Wissper the “animal whisperer” is a beloved character for young viewers all around the world.

The 52 x 7 minute episodes of the CGI-animated TV-series are created by the German m4e AG and London-based animation studio Cuckoo (formerly: Absolutely Cuckoo) – known for the BBC-hit-series “Waybuloo” in coproduction with Telegael (Ireland), Discreet Art Productions (India), and the German BASTEI Media GmbH, a subsidiary of publisher Bastei Lübbe AG. Key broadcasters for the series are Channel 5 kid’s strand Milkshake! (UK), KiKA (Germany), Clan TV (Spain), RTP and Canal Panda (Portugal), Discovery Kids (LATAM), and Nick Jr. (USA).
