Leading European children’s and youth entertainment company, Planeta Junior, is set to present PUCCA (produced by Vooz and CJ E&M) at BRAND LICENSING EUROPE and MIPCOM. Planeta Junior is the brand licensing agent and Tv series distributor for Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Iconic character Pucca was a hit in 170 countries. She’s returning thanks to an agreement signed by Planeta Junior, Vooz and CJ E&M. Planeta Junior is working on a massive digital campaign using traditional and new formats to reach new targets. It will also include disruptive advertising initiatives, like street marketing and unconventional publicity, to give audiences an immersive experience.
Pucca is also the star of a hilarious Tv animated series (78 x 7’) created by South Korean producers Vooz. This curious, reckless and cute looking girl works at the world’s last healthy restaurant. She is head over heels in love with Garu, their main ingredients supplier, who is also one of the best ninja warriors around. The first two 2D seasons are already available and Season 3 will be launched in CGI 3D, in 2019.
Ignacio Segura, Managing Director at Planeta Junior, says: “We are really thrilled and proud to work with CJ ENM and Vooz to bring this iconic lifestyle property back to the younger generations. We are sure that millennials and young adults are going to fall in love with Pucca, as her values of love and woman empowerment resonates now more than ever. The Pucca message will be delivered in the new digital language with tons of gifs, short clips, memes and funny captions and we are fueling this message with a huge online and offline campaign that will bring Pucca back to win everybody’s hearts. We can’t wait to show the world what we are working on to achieve this.”
