The show is screened in over a hundred countries across the world and captivates millions of young girls – from pre-school right up to tween/teen – through the enthralling adventures of the Winx Club fairies, as they battle evil and show what can be achieved through the power of friendship. The eagerly anticipated series 7 of the show is being released across the world this year.
Mia and me is the award-winning co-production with Lucky Punch GmbH/M4e that chronicles the adventures of 12-year old Mia in the magical land of Centopia and mixes live action with CGI animation. The first series was a huge global smash and Rainbow has responded to this popularity with the release of an n eagerly anticipated second series. This features brand new characters, in both the real world and Centopia, and sees Mia facing fresh challenges during her adventures.
Regal Academy takes the familiar world of fairy tales and turns it on its head! This hilarious, fresh and funny new show has impeccable pedigree as it is the creation of Iginio Straffi, the man behind Winx Club. It focuses on the adventures of Rose Cinderella, a normal girl who suddenly she finds herself in the world of Fairy Tales where she discovers that Cinderella is… her granny! Rose is enrolled at the fabled Royal Academy where her fellow students include Hawk SnowWhite, Travis Beast, Astoria Rapunzel and Hope LeFrog, all of them belonging to the school founding families. This sparkling new series features an irresistible mixture of comedy, music and exciting new animation techniques.
My American Friend is Rainbow’s first foray into a full live-action production and promises to delight audiences around the world with a tale of two cultures coming together. The show tells the story of Meg – an ordinary American girl with a dream of becoming the world’s greatest fashion designer. She gets her chance on her 16th birthday, when she becomes the youngest contestant ever to win a two-year scholarship at the Milan Fashion Academy. There she meets Bianca, a self-proclaimed Italian ‘princess’ and together they discover secrets that will change their lives forever! What brings these two very different girls together is there love of two of life’s greatest pleasure – music and fashion. These beautiful themes are at the centre of this amazing show. The series starts shooting in September in Italy and shows everything that is wonderful about the country, all seen through the eyes of a foreign visitor who falls in love with the place and its people.
