The PD Group Announces Its Annual Global and Europe Toy Industry Performance Awards for 2022

The NPD Group, a leading global information company which recently merged with Information Resources. Inc. (IRI®) to create a leading global technology, analytics and data provider, announced the winners of its fifth global and European* Toy Industry Performance Awards

The annual awards are based on 2022 sales and are given to the manufacturers or license owners of Europe’s top gaining toy
properties”, top global** toy manufacturer, top global toy property, top-selling global toy, and, for the first
time, acknowledging sustainable toys, according to NPD’s Retail Tracking Service.

“Once again, The NPD group is proud to acknowledge the innovation and quality of the toys and games being developed by our clients. And for the first time ever, we are celebrating two manufacturers whose efforts towards a more sustainable world have struck a chord with consumers,” said François Klipfel, President, Toys, The PD Group. “Our sustainable toy awards include all toys made from at least 70% recycled materials, organic materials, or wood from well-managed forests.
