Winx Club x Bershka: drop collection announced

Anticipation is growing for the first 2021 drop of Bershka’s Winx Club collection. The T-shirt is inspired by season 1 of the hit that has been enticing audiences for 17 years now, pushed forward by creator and entrepreneur Iginio Straffi

Following the announcement of a new global marketing and licensing plan focused on the Young Adult target for classic brand Winx Club, Italy’s animation flagship Rainbow is unveiling top partners onboard, starting with fashion franchise Bershka, part of Inditex Group.

We are excited to announce the partnership with Bershka. This line has a “classic” design connecting to our first season of Winx Club for the grown-up fans who continue to appreciate our fairies and their imagery. The exclusive drop will be available in all stores and online from June 2021. We will be announcing more exciting collaborations in the coming weeks”, commented Matteo Olivetti, Sales Director, Global CP, Rainbow Group.

Since its TV debut in 2004, Winx Club has emerged as a record-breaking ratings success on a global scale. Each new series has established the IP’s extensive presence on TV networks around the world and prestigious partnerships to support the brand. Fan audiences have grown steadily, turning Winx Club into one of the most successful properties of all time. From a children’s series, Winx Club has brought in fans who are now young men and women in their twenties.

Flanking the kids core target strategy, the new Winx look focuses on fashion apparel and make-up and is designed for young women who believe in the magical and colorful style of the world’s most famous fairies. A host of marketing, PR and digital activities will engage both the long-time and new audiences of the series, which is literally reborn also thanks to the resounding launch of live-action Fate: The Winx Saga, exclusive Netflix original adaptation inspired by the series and produced in association with Rainbow.  Released on the platform on January 22, 2021, the show is a global hit and season two is coming in 2022.
