The supercute collection features a bold range of footwear, apparel, and accessories, uniting two cultural icons that have inspired generations of fans. Rooted in the spirit of friendship, the playful lineup immerses Chuck into the charming world of Hello Kitty and Friends for a joyful, nostalgia-infused celebration of togetherness.
First introduced in 1974, global icon Hello Kitty has become the enduring symbol of friendship, kindness, and inclusivity. Capturing the essence of kawaii – the heartfelt Japanese culture of cuteness – and bringing her signature sweetness to everything she touches, Hello Kitty, alongside friends, invites people everywhere to celebrate who they are.
Both Hello Kitty and the Chuck Taylor have inspired self-expression among global fans for decades. With this collaboration, both icons come together for a variety of playful designs that welcome fans to share their joy and express their individuality with every step.
The all-ages collection features various Chuck iterations for adults and kids, including the Chuck 70, Chuck Taylor All Star High and Low, and Chuck Taylor All Star 1V and 2V. A sticker-inspired style guide brings Hello Kitty and Friends graphics to life through playful, layered designs that capture the super cute charm of collectible stickers. Bespoke prints and patterns also play up the cuteness, while charms and beads add dimension and individuality to select styles. Fans can also customize Chucks via the Converse x Hello Kitty and Friends By You (CBY) experience. In line with the theme of friendship, a wider breadth of character designs will be available in the CBY platform.
The collection also includes a premium edition of the Chuck 70 featuring Swarovski® crystals. Infusing a bit of glamour, the style highlights a bedazzled treatment of Hello Kitty’s face and the Chuck patch while a crystallized keychain adds another layer of styling. A 3D rubber feature of Hello Kitty’s iconic red bow sits on the left foot toe cap, while a custom license plate on the heel includes the bow peeking out.
