Grisù: Mondo TV and Calidra entrust licensing in Italy to ETS Group.

Mondo TV and Calidra BV choose ETS Group for the licensing of Grisù in Italy and neighboring territories. With its success on Rai Yoyo and collaborations with partners like Giochi Preziosi, the little firefighter dragon strengthens its presence in the market.

Mondo TV Group, a leader in Italy and Europe in the production and distribution of animated television series, together with Calidra BV, announces the appointment of ETS Group Srl as the licensing representative for Grisù in Italy (and Italian-speaking Switzerland, Vatican City, San Marino, Monaco).

The appointment of this prestigious agency aims to consolidate and expand the licensee portfolio for this key IP market. Among the many partners on board, who launched their products throughout 2024, are Giochi Preziosi, Ravensburger, Giunti, Commodore Industries, Emmeci, Pon Pon Edizioni, Spreadshirt, Carnaval Queen, Euro Publishing, and Thekom. Additionally, Fondazione Aida is bringing the musical Grisù: Un drago senza paura! (written by Marco Pagot and Manuel Renga and inspired by the animated series airing on Rai Yoyo) on a tour of over 40 dates across 35 cities in major Italian theaters.

Numerous collaborations have also taken place with Pompieropoli events in partnership with the National Firefighters Association.

The 3D animated Grisù series (52 x 12’) is an international co-production by Mondo TV France, Mondo TV Spa, Pagot, Calidra BV, Toon2Tango, and ZDF Studios, with the participation of Rai Kids and ZDF. It premiered in December 2023 on Italy’s leading preschool channel, Rai Yoyo.

New episodes are scheduled for BTS 2024, and the series’ success on TV is also due to strong support from the channel, including prime-time evening slots featuring two episodes back-to-back. This strategy has helped the series reach a wide audience, including nostalgic viewers.

Grisù’s mascot also participated in the popular La Posta di Yoyo program during the Firefighters’ Day celebration on December 4, 2024, marking another milestone for the little dragon who dreams of becoming a firefighter and is always ready to help others.

ETS Licensing is an independent agency in the Italian market, already known for the success of phenomena like Peppa Pig and PJ Masks. It boasts a strong licensing portfolio ranging from animation to design illustrations.
