L’Albero Azzurro is the longest-running children’s programme on Italian public television, which has been on air since 21 May 1990.
The brainchild of producer Franco Iseppi, was the first television experiment in Italy on the pre-school target audience (3 to 6 years old). The format of the programme, as well as the cast of presenters, has undergone numerous modifications that have gradually evolved the original educational approach into fiction.
In each episode, a new adventure comes to life, with Dodò, Laura (Laura Carusino) and Andrea (Andrea Beltramo) accompanying the little ones in their small and big achievements.
The programme is designed to give children a wide variety of stimuli and sparks to face the small and big conquests of every day with joy and lightness, but also with great clarity and truth.
Live shows and meet&greet with the presenters and characters have been taken from the programme, in shopping centres and theatres.
The licensing rights are managed in Italy by Rai Com.
