LIFE
Modern, avant-garde and world-renowned, LIFE is an American magazine that has chronicled the “life” of the entire world since 1936 and has made the history of photojournalism.
Since the release of its first issue on November 23rd, 1936, LIFE has been the world’s most respected source and collection of photojournalism images. Its photojournalists have captured some of the most significant events of the 20th century: history, fashion, sports, film and nature. The magazine spans a wide range of topics based on a constant mission: “To see LIFE; To see the world; To eyewitness great events.”
The images in its archive are iconic, they portray both every day and epic moments in our history, a true window on the world seen through the eyes of each photographer. LIFE is an archive of human experiences and great artists’ perceptions of the world, and its iconic images have stood the test of time.
