Mondo TV Iberoamerica group reached with Alianzas Producciones an agreement for the live teen series Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa

Mondo TV announces that Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group has reached an agreement with Alianzas Producciones SA, for the coproduction of two new seasons of the live teen series “Heidi, Bienvenida A Casa.

This two new series will both consist of 60 episodes of 45 minutes each and will maintain in a modern adaptation the character of the known story related to Heidi, in continuity with the first series already produced.

The total production budget for the whole project will amount to a little less than $ 11 million: the Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group will participate in the co-production with a contribution to the Budget for USD 4 million for each series, and will become the owner of 60% of the copyright on the work, while the partners will handle the realization phase as executive producer. Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group will handle the distribution of the program around the world with a variable fee depending on whether it will operate a direct sale or through sub-distributors.

With this contract Mondo TV Iberoamerica continues the development of the business related to the live teen series production, new to Mondo TV Group, in response to the growing demand for television products of this kind, and to follow up the high level of interest raised in the market by the first season Heidi.

The first series will in fact be broadcast throughout Latin America from March 2017 by Nickelodeon Latin America, with a major marketing campaign in the series by the same broadcaster.

The TV window will provide the necessary support to licensing plans which will be taken forward by the main licensing agencies operating in the territory: Smilehood will cover the markets of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, and Agosin will take care of the markets of Chile and Peru.

Considering such partners, the launch in the rest of the world between the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018, and thanks to new investments in future series, it is reasonable to think that Heidi will become the main hit in the future among the Mondo TV Group programs.
