CPLG BRINGS PEANUTS TO ZARA

Peanuts fashion and accessories collection for kids and women is available to buy at Zara stores worldwide, in a deal brokered by CPLG’S Spanish office on behalf of Peanuts Worldwide LLC.

The 10-piece collection for girls aged 4 to 14 years includes denim dungarees, t-shirts, a dress and sweatshirt, as well as plimsols, a backpack, and an on-trend khaki parka all featuring the iconic Snoopy and Woodstock characters.

For the older fans, an ankle length khaki jumpsuit and an oversized shirt are both available in women’s sizes small, medium and large.

CPLG TO REPRESENT LOVE THERAPY ACROSS EMEA & NORTH AMERICA

CPLG is proud to announce a partnership with the Fiorucci family to bring one of the most famous and iconic Italian brands, LOVE THERAPY, to a whole new generation.

Floria Fiorucci has appointed the leading licensing agency to represent the brand across EMEA and North America.

LOVE THERAPY was created in 2003 by the Italian fashion designer Elio Fiorucci and was both adorned and adored by a generation.  CPLG will work with the Fiorucci family to bring the brand back to the high street and into the hearts of teen and young adult consumers.

CPLG HEADS ON A MAGICAL JOURNEY WITH “RAINBOW RUBY” AND CHOCO BY THEIR SIDE

CPLG has been appointed by CJ E&M to represent the new CGI-animated preschool series “Rainbow Ruby” globally excluding Asia and LATAM. The show is produced by CJ E&M, Asia’s leading content and media company, in association with DHX Media, which handles television sales in the US, Canada & EMEA (excluding France) and China Entertainment which handles television sales and L&M business in China.

Rainbow Ruby follows the adventures of 6-year-old Ruby, a resourceful little girl who takes us on a magical journey in every episode to Rainbow Village, a whimsical land where her toys come to life. Once in Rainbow Village she is able to transform herself into whatever profession she needs to be to take on the job which will help save the day.

CPLG will develop a global and comprehensive licensing programme tapping into the series’ key themes of friendship, fun, adventure problem solving and imagination. The licensing programme will also reflect the aspirational themes explored throughout the series as Ruby, the heroine of the show, proves that you can be anything you want to be!

CJ E&M signed a ground breaking partnership with UNESCO in March to support their Girls’ Education Global Campaign using the characters from the new Rainbow Ruby series.
A share of the sales from Rainbow Ruby character products will be contributed to UNESCO’s global fund for promoting girls’ right to education. CJ E&M will also work with UNESCO to develop Edu-tainment apps and virtual reality content that aim to further the advancement of girls’ education globally, utilizing the digital assets from the CGI animation series.

With Family Jr. already airing the series in Canada and further broadcast deals imminent, Rainbow Ruby’s magical world has already attracted significant interest across the licensing industry.

CPLG ramps operations up in Turkey

CPLG today announces the opening CPLG Turkey, which will be led by seasoned licensing and retail professional Begum Isikli, based out of Istanbul. Begum assumes the position of Commercial Director CPLG Turkey, reporting into Anthe Louizos, Managing Director Turkey & Greece.

Begum joins CPLG with a wealth of licensing experience, most recently as the Retail Head of the Walt Disney Company Turkey and prior to that, Category Manager at Lisans A.S.

Begum Isikli says “I am very excited about joining the CPLG family. I look forward to using my knowledge, experience and skills to really put CPLG on the map in the Turkish marketplace.”

CPLG Turkey launches with an exceptionally strong portfolio, including Nickelodeon, DHX Brands, Sega, Felix the Cat, Sesame Street, Oddbods and Billboard.

In addition to the existing portfolio, CPLG Turkey announces today representation of the local pre-school property “Canim Kardesim” (My Dear Sister), broadcast on TRT Cocuk since 2012. With 109 episodes already developed and two movies slated for release in October 2016 and April 2017, CPLG Turkey will be commencing the licensing program with immediate effect across all categories, including toys, publishing and apparel.

Billboard Partners With Cplg

The Hollywood Reporter–Billboard Media Group today announced that Billboard has appointed CPLG to represent the brand’s licensing initiatives for products and retail across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The deal pairs CPLG, one of the world’s leading entertainment, sports and brand licensing agencies with Billboard, the leading global destination for charts, news, business and innovations in music, to amplify an already extensive international portfolio of consumer product categories.

The licensing agreement will include a wide array of merchandise categories from apparel and accessories to audio and electronics, stationary, food and beverage items, toys and games, and music compilations, in addition to other products.

The partnership represents the continued expansion of Billboard’s international presence through product and retail, media content and licensing. Earlier this year Billboard appointed IMG as the brand’s licensing agent in Asia. In April, Billboard and fashion retailer OXYGEN partnered to create the brand’s first-ever apparel collection which debuted in the Philippines. Billboard Thailand was also launched this year, accelerating the reach and power of the global brand.

PUMA DEBUTS NEW SESAME STREET LINE FOR SPRING-SUMMER ‘16

In a deal brokered by CPLG, global sports brand PUMA has partnered with Sesame Workshop, the organization behind Sesame Street, to introduce a kid’s collection of footwear and apparel inspired by the well-loved characters of the iconic children’s show.

Everyday is a sunny day when you’re laughing and learning with the Sesame Street friends. Featuring the colourful furry cast of characters,  the PUMA x Sesame Street collection includes footwear styles from the PUMA archive in mini versions, available for boys and girls from age 1 to 12 years.

The PUMA Suede model comes in four renditions that feature furry red Elmo, fuzzy blue Cookie Monster, scruffy green Oscar the Grouch and best friends Bert and Ernie.
The Basket Classic model gets monsterised with the Basket Sesame Street Furry Kids while the PUMA Running classic, the ST Runner, comes alive with oggly eyes and friendly smiles.
Even the smallest feet are covered with the crib Sesame Street infant bootie for babies from 3 months to one year!

The apparel collection for boys and girls from age 2 to 12 years includes tees, sweat pants, sweat jackets, crew sweats, bermudas and leggings. Completing the collection are accessories perfect for school days or play dates – backpacks, play sacks and water bottles. All decked in playful designs featuring the Sesame Street crew.

The PUMA x Sesame Street collection is available now in PUMA stores, on PUMA.com, and select kid’s stores globally and another collection is planned for Autumn Winter this year.
